Several Blackroom clients already use Model ML in their day-to-day work. Some asked us for a direct connection between the platforms, so their teams could work with live deal content without repeatedly downloading, uploading and moving documents between tools.
This integration was built in response to that feedback.
Model ML users can now work with an active Blackroom data room directly in Model ML
Depending on their existing Blackroom permissions, users can:
- Search and access authorised deal documents
- Navigate the data room index
- Work with Q&A content
- Use the Blackroom capabilities available to their account
This allows investment bankers, private equity professionals, corporate development teams and other transaction participants to use the latest deal content in their Model ML workflows without recreating the data room elsewhere.
Built around existing permissions
The integration does not introduce a separate access model. Blackroom remains the source of truth for permissions, and every request is limited to the content and capabilities already available to the user.
Teams therefore benefit from a more connected workflow while retaining the access controls and traceability expected when working with sensitive transaction information.
