A WORD FROM OUR CEO
“For too long, VDRs have felt like a tax on dealmaking—expensive, clunky, and slow to evolve. At Blackroom, we call our approach Collaborative M&A: building great products with our users, not behind closed doors.”

Co-Founder & CEO
COLLABORATIVE M&A
Discover Collaborative M&A, our open and transparent way to co-create products.
At Blackroom, we believe the market has been broken for too long. A handful of incumbents control the VDR space, and the result has been rigid pricing, dated interfaces, and a lack of meaningful innovation.

We exist to change that. Our approach is simple: build with our users, not for them. We collect input everywhere—interviews, conversations, public forums—and turn that feedback into real product decisions.

If something works, we adopt it. If it’s broken, we fix it. And if there’s an opportunity to innovate, we act quickly. This isn’t a marketing slogan. It’s our philosophy.
We’ve opened our roadmap, made development transparent, and invited every customer and prospect to participate.

Blackroom is here to redefine what a data room can be: modern, collaborative, and AI driven.

And we’re only just getting started.

The Blackroom Team
Behind the Product — A New Way to Build
Collaborative
Build openly, share clearly.
We believe trust is earned through openness. From our product roadmap to customer conversations, clarity and honesty guide every decision
Customer Obsession
Listen, learn, improve
Our users shape what we build. Every idea, frustration, and suggestion is fuel for making the product better — faster, clearer, and more collaborative.
Innovation
Challenge the status quo.
We’re not here to repeat what’s been done. We adopt what works, fix what doesn’t, and innovate where the market has failed customers for too long.
Momentum
Keep moving, keep improving.
We prioritize speed with intention, knowing that progress compounds. Whether it’s shipping a feature or iterating on a process, we bias toward action and refine as we go.
